Colonoscopy: Colonoscopy by an incompetent doctor cannot cause colon cancer although it could have missed colon cancer. If a hole was put in the colon then there could be severe infection. Recommend reviewing your results of the colonoscopy because polyps, hemorrhoids, colitis, and diverticulosis could all cause rectal bleeding.
