A mole was removed in 2008 from my fiancee. the scar (quarter sized) just now started to hurt with a dull throbbing feeling. should we be worried?

Look for any other c: If there are any other changes(besides pain), then i would be more concerned. Look for any discoloration or any lump or thickness as any local recurrence of melanoma will produce a nodule which you can easily feel. If the pain continues, go see your doctor for a medical examination.
