Probably yes: Site location, size (length), and what type of suturing was done will change was the site feels and looks like. Often, suturing under skin (dissolving type usually) will provide the lump you feel. It will take remodeling time for it to soften and lay flat. Itching is not uncommon, and often relates to swelling changes or irritation of surface by clothing/ointments, etc. Normal healing is months

Yes: Depending on the size of the defect being closed after removal of a mole, your surgeon likely used stitches in a layered fashion, with only the skin sutures being removed after surgery. The deeper sutures are designed to prevent widening of the scar and will slowly dissolve over time. These are likely what you are feeling under the incision. Your surgeon can give you more info if desired.
