Your complaints: Of mood issues and weight are not related to the mirena (levonorgestrel). The amout of circulating homrone from the device is ropughly 1/30th the amount in the pill. Your cramping may be due to ovulation, bowel or bladder. Perhaps that is the iud. Your mood and anxiety need to be seperatly treated, then you will see more clearly where the iud is causing a problem. Good luck.
