Unlikely: Mirena (levonorgestrel) is an iud which secretes Levonorgestrel hormone in the uterus to prevent pregnancy. It is unlikely to be absorbed systemically to cause anxiety or depression. However if you are prone to anxiety, any change in life may trigger it as opposed to be due to Mirena (levonorgestrel) per se. Give it some time till you get get adjusted to it. Good luck. Do seek treatment for anxiety and depression.
