I got two teeth pulled in july and there is a small bump where the dentist injected the novocaine into my gum and it's still a little numb. help me?

Takes time: The numbness might be due to very minor nerve damage or residual swelling in that region. Regeneration of feeling in the mouth that might yet return but it is unknown. If this is really causing you trouble you could speak with the dentist who gave you the novacaine, but outside of time there is not much we could do to return the feeling of sensation in that region.

See dentist: This may be some scar tissue or granulation tissue. You should have this evaluated by your dentist.

Return: Please return to the Dentist that knows your situation the best, the Dentist that did the extractions. Impossible to determine cause of "small bump" without examination. Loss of sensation maybe due to nerve damage or to residual infection. You have to be seen to be diagnosed and then treated.
