Your blood: The most likely thing is that it is your blood that he is consuming while breast feeding. If you have any soreness, cracking or irritation of your nipples, they can bleed while he is nursing and he can actually swallow a significant amount of blood from this. If he is thriving, not vomiting, and his poo is just colored, i'd look to you first.
