GI bleeding?: Fecal blood may originate from any part of the gastrointestinal tract. The color is dark if it comes from the stomach but bright red if it comes from lower GI parts . It can be from bleeding benign ulcers or ulcerated tumor and often it comes from traumatized hemorrhoids. Suggest checking with a gastroenterologist or proctologist (specialist in lower GI & rectum)
