You've been suffering for a year and you have not sought medical attention because why? 5 most dangerous words in the English language, "Maybe it will go away." Your problem has not self-healed. Put down the computer. Pick up the phone. Call a general practitioner to begin the diagnostic process.

You need to see your doctor and have this evaluated. You should be seen by a GI doctor so you can get endoscopy done. This is where a lighted scope with a camera is passed into your stomach to find out what is causing your symptoms. You may need to have a gastric emptying test to see if the food stays in your stomach too long, resulting in vomiting. Please see a GI doctor ASAP! Good luck!

Agree with Dr. Ferranti. If you have lost weight, it is imperative that you a doctor, at the earliest, for an evaluation and to ascertain if you need to consult a GI specialist. Wish you good health!
