Not a great idea: Speed and accuracy can only be damaged by lorazepam. It is too addictive to consider long term use, you might become tolerant and present rebound anxiety if doses are skipped, in a short time. Much better options available, the answer is not a benzodiazepine like ativan. Ask your dr. Best of luck.

Not long term!: Using 2mg Lorazepam in an ongoing, daily way would not be good for speed or accuracy. However, an er or other doctor may have dosed it that way as a one-time use, for needed symptom relief. It sounds like you need to work in an ongoing way with a good psychotherapist & psychiatrist to review your situation & your response to it. If needed, there are less habit-forming medications.
