A member asked:

What should be done when pap shows normal endometrial tissue on day 8 of cycle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably nothing: It is not unusual to find endometrial cells on a pap smear in the first 14 days of the menstrual cycle. When these cells are found in women over 40, they may prompt additional testing, including an endometrial biopsy to make sure there is no endometrial pathology.
