In this context benign endometrial cells on the pap are normal. No additional follow up is required. This could relate to the pink discharge, especially if it is midcycle or premenstrual, but otherwise should be evaluated when you are noticing it.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, what you described is normal. Do follow your doctor's advice for follow up care and get a PAP at least in three years. Wish you good health!

While the observed endometrial cells in Pap smear may appear "normal" , their presence after day 12 of the menstrual cycle should prompt the physician to seek an explanation, including via another Pap or endometrial tissue sampling (curettage).
