What to do when vicodin doesn't stop tooth pain?

Re-eval expectations: You really can't expect pain medication to stop moderate or severe dental pain. You need to call a dentist or endodontist to determine the source and recommend a course of action.

See your doctor: Assume that you were prescribed vicodin for tooth pain, you should see your doctor for medication change. You also should see a dentist for evaluation.

Fix the problem: Firstly, take an anti inflammatory like Ibuprofen rather then vicodin. If that doesn't work, vicodin will be more effective. Second, get the tooth checked out. If you don't take care of the problem, it will not go away. The longer you wait the more uncomfortable and stressed you will become and the situation will get worse rather then better. Good luck.
