Yes, but don't: Yes but it is very dangerous. I know 2 people that have died doing exactly what you asked. The 2 drugs magnify each other. The result makes you sleepier. The problem is you may never wake up. Alcohol does nothing for tooth pain, just helps you sleep through it. We do this kind of thing with anesthesia, but someone is watching you with a monitor.

Tooth pain: Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant and so is vicodin. This not a good idea at all. It can lead to increased confusion-there is a reason that when vicodin is prescribed that is says to not drive and operate machinery. See your dentist asap.

Not good idea: Don't drink and drive. Don't drink and take drugs. Don't drink and operate machinery. It's just not safe as the alcohol and the pain killer alter the combined effect on your body.
