Depends: Alcohol consumption after an intraoral surgical procedure isn't recommended due to the irritating nature of alcohol, but there is not a specific restriction against it for me. No doubt each surgeon may feel differently about how he/she wants you to conduct yourself in the immediate postop period. Plus, you should not mix beer with narcotic pain medicine if you are still requiring their use.

Beer after ext: When you have teeth extracted it takes approximately 2-3 days to reach peak inflammatory response which is why sometimes you feel pretty good the first day but wore the next day or two or three, anything that you do to irritate the extraction site, draw through a straw, introduce carbonation, pack food will make your post op experience worse and could possibly contribute to dry socket, wait little.
