Bad idea: Yes, it's not wise to drink beer or any carbonated beverage after removal of wisdom teeth, not because of the alcohol but because the carbonation can dissolve the blood clot in the tooth socket in the bone, leading to a dry socket. This can be very painful and causes delayed healing.
