Do you have to wait a full two weeks to drink through a straw after wisdom tooth removal? or is a week and a half okay?

What to do?: A week and a half should be ok but i cannot guarantee that, especially without personally evaluating the site in question. Sip gently or better yet, wait the extra few days.

Better safe...: Than sorry...No one can tell you that one and a half weeks is ok, because if something happens, they are now responsible :) listen to your dentist! is it that important to have a drink through a straw anyways!?!

Follow instructions: You should follow the post-op instructions of the dentist/oral surgeon whom took out the teeth. Don't do activities too early that may affect the healing. Ask questions.
