Primary doctor: See you primary care doctor to find out whether it is truly a superficial cyst, like a sebaceous cyst, or if it is a deeper fluid-filled cyst. The superficial one can be taken out by a general surgeon, but a deeper cyst should be seen by an orthopedist.
