What is non specific proctitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Just what it says...: It's inflammation of the lining of the rectum that is not related to infection, or a disease called ulcerative colitis, or other defined causes. Often treated with topical medicined (delivered by suppository or small medicated enema) over a short time period. Most often self-limited; usually does not recur.
