How do you tell the difference between a pimple in/around nose and a nasal ulcer?

Nasal lesion: A pimple has a red convex surface with an occasional papule (white spot with pus) in the center. An ulcer has a concave surface, but it too can be red. If it does not go away within a few days, see your doctor.
