Focal infection: In this location the most likely thing is a blocked lacrimal drainage system with focal infection of the lacrimal sac termed 'dacryocystitis'. Other soft tissue infections in that location are also possible but less likely. Have your ophthalmologist check this out. You will probably need an acceptable antibiotic and focal heat treatment.
