Interesting: Elevated amylase/lipase are not just from pancreatitis. Sometimes, it could be from medications (lasix, steroids, valproic acid, etc.), malignancy, and kidney disease. If you are not experiencing any abdominal pain, it's unlikely that you have acute pancreatitis despite elevated lipase/amylase. If you have kidney disease, this may be the reason for your elevated a/l levels.Best to see your doctor.
