Romance, of course: Early romance can cause euphoric feelings that make a person feel like they need less rest. If the romance is not going as hoped, sleep pattern can be disturbed for other reasons. It's probably good that you're not taking long naps in the day anymore, though. How is your mood, appetite, and interest in things other than this person? If any concerns you can see a mental health professional.

Certainly Can: This type of preoccupation can happen at any age, but is more often found in youth. The insomnia should slowly get better, but if it is not, is lasting weeks or even months, and it is interfering with you normal routine, it may be worth discussing this with your doctor.
