Water: There is controversy about the optimal amount of water intake for healthy people. Unless you have a medical condition such as kidney stones, drinking amounts beyond what your body is telling you with thirst may have no benefit. One liter is probably more than most people, although maybe not enough if you are outside all day or exercising.
