Heart rate: Normal heart rate for an average adult is considered to be in the 60 to 100 range beats per minute.

60-100/min: Normal resting hr is typically between 60 to 100beats per min. Above 100 is condired as tachycardia, below 60 considered as bradycardia. People in very good shape typically run their heart rates in 40s and 50s with out having any symptoms. If you are not in best physical shape and hr is below 50s , need to get checked out.

Too many variables: That is a bit of a vague question and there is no right answer. Probably under 100 beats per minute. But, there are a lot of variables. What is your real concern?
