Yes: Pinquecula is very common. If considering tiny pinqueculi then almost everyone over age 25 has some. It usually does not interfere with lasik result. If the pinquecula is large and inflammed it is better treated first so the lasik suction ring can seat well. Consult your ophthalmologist.
