Yes: Fda trials of lasik in the us involved patients 21 years or older. If patients are adequatly informed, the prescription is low, and the prescription is stable lasik could be considered at earlier ages. If the latter two points are not met. Enhancement surgeries may be needed down the road.

Yes: Lasik is permanent, but not a lifelong cure. If needed you may go back for an enhancement. Although it is very rare, a follow-up lasik procedure may be necessary if your eyes do not heal as expected.
