Dr. Derron Wilson answered

Specializes in Pain Management

Primary Care: There are several specialists that deal with hip pain but it depends on the underlying cause. At 34, i would suggest starting with your primary care physician.

Depends: Depends on where the hip pain is located. If in the groin, it is likely the hip joint and that would require rheumatologist or orthopedic evaluation. If low on the side of the pelvis, it could be bursitis.
