Numbness: Possibly, but there are many other more probable causes of numbness. Possible causes of numbness in toes are too numerous to list, but most common causes are diabetic neuropathy, radiculopathy, tarsal tunnel syndrome, neuroma, B12 deficiency, alcohol. A blood test to check your thyroid would indicate if you had a thyroid problem.

Maybe: There are many different reasons you can get numb toes....Thyroid issues is just one possibility. Numbness can be caused by lower back problems, diabetes, poor circulation, tarsal tunnel syndrome. I would suggest further work up.
