Had neck c5-6 fusion and l4,5,s1 fusion in 2003/4. exper numb and pain in big toe & 2 that follow it on both feet. also have intense left shoulder pain and numb middle,ring and pinky also the palm. right shoulder pain started. what would cause this?

Orthopedist: Hi. The symptoms you mention are probably due to the vertebral fusion; they could also be due to fibromyalgia a conditions that causes those same symptoms. I recommend an orthopedist or rheumathologist evaluation for proper treatment. Increasing physical activity may help.
