Could be incipient: 'cavities' are the result of the disease: caries, they are a process, not an singular event. It takes time to develop. In the early stages, you can reverse it by eliminating excess dietary sugar and acid, flossing/brushing daily, adding Fluoride (and calcium and phosphorus, if available). Regular check-ups will allow your dentist to determine if the cavity is: reversed, arrested, or progressed.

Cavities: Is your dentist ignoring , or prioritizing? Think of triage in an emergency , you deal with the most critical problem first. Are there gum issues that are more pressing? Are there root canals or extractions to be done? The cavities may be small and the other problems require more immediate attention. Ask your dentist....
