Once healed: Once the wound has completely epithelialized and no drainage or scabs are present, it should be safe. Your best bet is to ask your surgeon. He or she can tell you when it's time.

Healing process: Skin grafts are two types. Split thickness or full thickness. Split grafts have no dermis, and are typically red for several months. Full grafts first become puffy, and contain dermis . It heals slowly. Medermaa will have little effect on grafts.
