Yes: Skin grafts are very helpful after losing large amounts of skin. If there are areas that can not cover your body from burns, or other injuries skin can be removed from other parts of your body or cadeaver skin can be used to place over the uncovered area to protect your body. This usually works well for healing and allows a much better cosmetic look for the area needing to be covered.
