Atorvastatin: Its a very safe & effective drug used for lowering cholesterol.Side effects can be muscle aches & it can respond to cq 10(coenzyme q).Rarely one can get severe muscle pains which requires stooping the drug.You need blood tests to monitor liver enzymes which can sometimes go up , but its reversible after stooping the drug.
