Variety: "Spots" usually describes white matter lesions, which may be due to aging, prior head injury, smoking, high blood pressure, hardening of arteries, migraine, even multiple sclerosis. In other words, does it correlate with your symptoms prompting the study. Ask the doctor who ordered the study.
