What can a spot in the brain mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Perhaps no signific.: "spots" are not uncommonly seen when an MRI is done, and usually these incidental white matter lesions are signs of prior migraine headaches or head injuries. These could be consistent with disease such as a stroke or multiple sclerosis, but these latter do have specific patterns and characteristics. A solitary lesion without clinical correlation is not an item to worry about.
