We don't know: You are probably referring to non-specific white matter lesions seen on MRI of your brain. We actually do not have a clear understanding of what these or what they mean. They are loosely associated with stroke and dementia. However, at 38 years of age I would not think your white spots are cause of your symptoms and am surprised you have them. They could be serious. Please get them checked out.
