Trust your gut: Try another doctor for second opinion if you don't like your current one. You can always go back. Try a rheumatologist-they would specialize in lupus.

See below: You do not have plaquenil/hydroxychloroquine listed as a medication---it makes a world of difference for lupus patient if you can tolerate it and it is a maintenance drug for lupus. If this has not been prescribed without a good reason, you might want to seek a second opinion.
