CBT and medications: This is well studied. Ocd responds best to a combination of an ssri antidepressant such as fluoxetine (prozac) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (cbt). The combination improves the original response rate and, perhaps even more importantly, decreases the likelihood of a second episode.
