Maybe: Alcohol in pregnancy is associated with birth abnormalities and possibly heavy drinking can be associated with blighted ovum.

Unknown: This is not known for sure but it's probably not so. However, heavy drinking in first trimester can absolutely cause fetal alcohol syndrome and possible fetal death, so how about it's a really poor idea!
