Can putting toothpaste on boil help?

No: Never heard of this for treating a boil.

Miracle?: If toothpaste was a miracle worker for everything from skin rashes, to boils, to acne, to lubrication, to stuff you use downstairs, it would be worth so much more. It would cost you an arm and a leg. Please, use toothpaste for your teeth, and speak to your dermatologist, gyn, md, ent, etc. For other uses.

No!: Quite the opposite. Toothpaste can actually cause burn-like skin irritation. It's formulated to use in the mouth, nowhere else. Do NOT use it on your skin. What you are calling a boil may be a infection that requires treatment. Please see your Physician or a skin specialist, a Dermatologist, for appropriate safe and effective treatment.
