You shouldn't: It depends on how large of an area needed to be removed. The bigger the wart, the longer it can take to heal. Many times it takes about 6 - 8 weeks to heal. You should keep the area clean and free from infection.

Plantar wart: There are many ways to treat and even to do surgery on a plantar wart. The doctor that is doing the procedure can tell you your limitations but if the area is covered (sealed) you should be able to go to the beach regardless of the procedure chosen. Any incision will require at least 3 weeks to full recover.

Wart: I wouldn't recommend it. Speak to your surgeon as healing depends on the area involved and the size of the area too
