A member asked:

Is hiv conclusive after one year?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nearly so: If the HIV nucleic acid test is negative, it is conclusive, if the antibody test is negative after one year, it is nearly conclusive evidence for lack of HIV infection. Positive result by either method would also be conclusive of HIV infection.
