Yes: Lots of fiber means fruits and vegetables. These are "good carbs" that are less caloric, less "glycemic" and less of a metabolic stress than sweets + starches. Atkins originally didnt allow much carb of any kind, but most doctors now recommend keeping the good carbs and focusing on limiting sugar, sugary drinks, sweets, commercial baked goods and starches.
