Any change in the: Nature of head ache is an issue that needs revaluation . If you were diagnosed with TMJ dysfunction and had some kind of pain which you are familiar , and the head ache you are experiencing is different in intensity , location and frequency , i would suggest see your pcp or neurologist.

Most likely: Most likely recurrence of your TMJ symptoms. Have an evaluation. Tmj problems can get worse as we get older, when there has been no treatment.

A TMJ expert can be general dentist, an oral surgeon, prosthodontist, orofacial pain specialist. Ask your physician, dentist or dental society for a recommendation.
