As of late..i have been having heart palpations and my heart races..i even hear what sounds like a thud. been to er.ekg and blood work came back good.

Palpitations: It appears that other causes of palpitations beside the heart could be considered by your mdlike anxiety/ panic disorders.

Heart palpitations : Talk to your primary doc. Assuming you both rule out medical causes (thyroid), drugs, or diet you should talk about trying a holter monitor which will record an ekg over 24 hrs or longer and determine if you have an intermittent cardiac arrhythmia.
