A member asked:

Serology tests, what do you mean by rpr?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

RPR = syphilis test: Rpr (rapid plasma reagin) is a test usually done to screen for the presence of antibodies produced in response to the organism that causes syphilis (t. Pallidum). A negative test usually means that you don't have syphilis. A reactive RPR may indicate infection.
