Not necessarily: It could be caused by lymphadenitis ( inflammed /swollen lymph glands) or could be musculoskeletal-muslce sprain etc. Infection, open wound, trauma, inflammation, tumor around the genital areas can cause swollen lymph gland on the inner thigh and swollen lymph gland can be painful. Not necessarily to be cancer. Infection would be the most common cause. Go to see your md to get checked.

More Hx: Not necessarily. Thigh pain can be due to multiple causes, including meralgia paresthetica, disc herniation, and neuropathy.
