Dxd erythema ab igne on small area of inner thigh from long term heating pad. stopped using pad, rash very faded 10 days later. read articles about risk of skin cancer now? is that actually a significant risk? terrified i have damaged myself?

I personally feel that the risk of any skin cancer secondary to your exposure is very slim. You might have the hyperpigmentation for a while, however. See your dermatologist should any significant changes occur in the area of involvement
