Multiple: Could be simple trauma, or a deficiency of platelets or clotting factors in your blood. Could also be medication side effect. See your doctor for the right tests.

Could be: If you have an unexplained bruise that has no known injury to explain its presence this could be a problem with your blood clotting or platelets. Most times these cases are explained by a seemingly mild injury that resulted in enough bleeding to leave the bruise. Seek your doctors advise if this persists.
